A summary of our travel through Vande Bharat Express from Thivim-Goa (which is approx. 6kms away from Mapusa) to Dadar-Mumbai.
We board the 22230 Vande Bharat Express at 01:05 pm from Thivim Railway Station towards Dadar-Mumbai. Our train was 5 mins late due to heavy rainfall in his region.
The train is fantastic with excellent comfortable seats, automatic door locking system, clean toilet, ample light inside the train & a cosy cool atmosphere in the train cabin.
The catering staff were well mannered & co-operative but the food quality was not up to that mark since the afternoon lunch & dinner was ok with no proper taste. We had ordered veg food while booking the train ticket & same was served with 2 chapatis, panner sabzi, dal, rice, pickle & curd. The evening snack was much better than the lunch & dinner & the same was served with diet chuda, peanut chikki, samosa & mango juice.
The entire travel was very smooth with some breathtaking beautiful kokan scenes throughout the journey, we could’ld moved our eyes from the train window. This Kokan route consists of 91 tunnels, 146 rivers along with more than 2000 bridges which makes it the most beautiful train journey in India.
Conclusion
So there you have it, folks – the Vande Bharat Express, a train that brings together speed, comfort, and a dash of luxury to make your journey from Goa to Mumbai truly memorable. Book your tickets and experience the magic of this high-speed marvel, because life’s too short for slow trains!
